Yes, the current batch have been nakedly political.... But that is still very different than running a campaign for a seat and requiring those seeking a seat to be bought out by donors. Campaign finance laws would have to be completely re-written before we have judges being sold to the highest bidders.

Yep, most do. It is harder for someone homeless to vote, for sure, but ID is one of those things that is basically easy to get. I could agree that ID requirements do make it harder for the homeless to vote, especially if they require a physical address (though still, many shelters allow them to use theirs).
I work with the indigent/homeless population. As unfortunate as their circumstance is, they ALL have a valid ID. Any other narrative is just wrong.
