Used to work for an honest tow company. We were police contracted. Our fee was $85 for recovery (lots of snowy roads), $185 for an accident, and $45 + $3 per mile for standard service. These fees only changed if there was hazardous chemical cleanup... blood, coolant, gas, etc. Added about $85 for that.
