...plus it helped their club teams too.

Why do you think those players in those continents perform well? They’re consistently playing against very good competition. Other than Mexico and Costa Rica, you don’t get much of that at the club or international level (and let’s not forget that Mexican clubs prioritize the Copa Libertadores and not the CONCACAF…
I agree, I always felt like the qualifying system in CONCACAF was done to ensure the US always makes it.
I agree, I remember Myles Jack at UCLA did the same thing a few years ago after injuring himself. Interestingly, his coaches didn’t call him a quitter.
I’m sure teams will hold this against him but once those combine numbers come in (assuming they’re good), you’ll notice their tunes will change.
...or “your a trader!!!”
Totally, when I hear coaches talk about the “system” or “program” that’s their way of saying it’s about them.
Some should get special treatment, that’s life. Like Jimmy Johnson was cutting a backup running back for falling asleep in a meeting. A reporter asked him what he would do if Troy Aikman fell asleep. Johnson’s reply, “I would tell him to wake up.”
a bunch of GMs who buy into that bullshit.
So basically what you’re saying is people react to terms differently. Interesting taking.
Great story bro!
If you say it is, I guess it’s not.
So now you’re telling people how they should feel. Next time you’re insulted and it upsets you, contact me so I can tell you how you’re too sensitive.
Seattle and New England fans are very obnoxious but I would put them behind fans of basically any midwest team. If you want to know where Trump got his “voter surge” from. Just check out the stands in Philly (most of those people live in the ‘burbs), Green Bay, Cleveland, Cincy, or Detroit.
I live in Seattle, most people here don’t give a shit about having an NBA/NHL team or not.
The only reason they stayed was because the potential owners in 2009 wanted to move the team to Hamilton, ON. The Maple Leafs privately read the NHL the Riot Act if they allowed a team to move into “their” territory.
Plus it was rumored when the Lakers wanted Phil to coach a few years back, he insisted that he only coach home games.
I agree, at least with Trump, you he’s upfront about his feelings. Pence is a snake in the grass.
How are they just as bad? The alt-right is a coalition of racist groups.
THe alt-left is determined to be as hatable as the alt-right. Their positions may be better, but they still act like petulant children.
