Maybe it’s the bunch of nerds I associate myself with, but in this day and age, it blows my mind that there are people who don’t know anything about David Lynch or his style. I can see that he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but like, to just not know anything about him? Weird!

I realized that this new season is my Oscars, Superbowl, World Series, etc. Husband likes it ok, but is not as big a fan, to say the least, so he just kinda kept out of the way and nodded and smiled a lot. It’s all just so exciting.

The way she appeared was so perfect. It made me cry. RIP, log lady.

I loved that movie, too! Also loved him in Scream, of course. And I about exploded with joy seeing him pop up on Twin Peaks last night! My husband couldn’t a) remember who he was, and b) understand why I’d be so happy as to yell “Oh my GOD! It’s Matt Fucking Lillard!”

I agree wholeheartedly. It’s much different making a tea or infusion for something, using the actual plant matter itself, than the industry that sucks out the active parts and jam it into a pill. People are told it’s the same, but it totally is not.

Thanks a lot for the commiseration, and for letting me vent. That’s been kinda festering for a while (obvs.!). My friend is a super cool, open-minded, you-do-you kinda chick, and I think that’s why it upset me more than other people’s limited world views. Bah. Anyway...
