Totally agree. That was the thing - when Bernie said “Vote for Hillz” I was like, *hands in pockets, kick dirt around* “OK.” Not like it was really a question at that point, but that was the point I knew I’d feel ok about it.

Poor Nancy! I’m in a writing program that meets in the White Mountains twice a year, at a reputedly very haunted hotel, so I LOVE hearing stuff like this. So, if you or anyone else know of ghost stories at the Mountain View Grand hotel, BRING ‘EM!

I completely agree about Skyline Drive - stunningly gorgeous. I wasn’t prepared for just how beautiful it would be. Blue Ridge Parkway, too - man, those mountains are humbling. I thought VA was similar in many ways to New England, although much more mountainy. Sigh...
