Woo woo, finally the avatar gets a shout-out!

Again, I liked the film, the production & sound design, the photography, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. For the first half of the film it's very much a filmic universe I enjoy inhabiting as a viewer. I also like that it attempts big things.

I also enjoyed the film, but I agree with a lot of the criticisms it seems to engender. The characters don't behave plausibly, a better writer would have placed them in peril in ways that didn't make them seem so lazily idiotic.

I was personally hoping for Hank to stumble upon some of Walt's Grey-Matter era textbooks or something, and maybe find some reference or fascination with Werner Heisenberg within.

Ummm, not to sound like I'm defending creeps or molesters, but Humbert Humbert is the protagonist of "Lolita". He's a predator, and generally a bad, condescending guy, but he is the protagonist no matter how distasteful he is.

As someone who's gone through the education system of Farrell's native Dublin… Irish people generally don't have student loans to contend with. We have universal third-level education. Besides a roughly €500 registration fee (at least when I was a student), your first Bachelor's degree is courtesy of the state.

Generally, yes. Though last night's $15 Dark Knight Rises ticket to the only IMAX screen in the state felt pretty steep.

Or "Notorious" Bergman — That stripey shirt in the opening scenes, she looks just as hot when she looks like she's slumming it as when she's in utter glamor mode in Casablanca

Bravo, sir.

Bravo, sir.

No kidding, it sounded exhausting!

I don't have a huge problem with Zack's political views, sure his solutions to society's ills, like most Anarchism, are ultimately unworkable, that doesn't mean that people shouldn't be angry at some of the same things that Anarchists are angry about.
