Sounds about right. I love those types of people who think they garner street cred by bashing a ride. I don’t mind someone not liking a car, but just throwing short antagonistic comments on the thread is stupid. Back it up or stfu. It looks like he’s having trouble with both options.

I agree completely with your summary. I also really liked the proportions of the Vantage. I thought it would be a bigger car, but it looked surprisingly small in the garage, even next to our 911. The entertainment did suck, it never was loud enough especially with the top down. But the roar of the engine is

Oh he never owned an Aston. You can tell by his comments about the performance.

I would suggest driving one. You may not be a total fan, but it’s a blast to drive. It handles extremely well. I think being behind the wheel of one would quickly change your mind. Sure it’s pretty on the outside, but it’s also a hell of a driving car.

Not the case. Make sure you’re informed on what you speak. The car will not leave you stranded - not for electronic reasons, and not if maintained like a normal car. Hell, a Civic will leave you stranded if you don’t take care of it. That old analogy that Audi and AM got stuck with years ago is just that - old and out

Correct. It’s definitely exotic. It’s not a supercar, though. That I would never say for the V8V. The V12 Vantage or Vanquish? Maybe. But every AM car is an exotic by nature in my opinion.

I was taking offense, but not like an AM owner. Just at what seemed to be someone ranting against a car with no background of why. Your comments were very quick and pointed. Now that I see your history, and access to some high performance cars in the car club I can see where you draw your opinions. I respect that. It

It’s funny you say that! This one guy was trying to get my price down on my 09 when I was selling it. He had cash and thought that JUST because he said he wasn’t a fan of the color that it deemed the car unworthy of my price (turned out he had a total hardon for the color). We ended up in a serious phone battle ending

I had one for about 18 months. The oil changes are on the high side. About $230. But the brakes you can do yourself. They’re so easy to remove the calipers and fit new pads. The issue comes with brake squeal which due to the sheer size of the calipers is a nuisance. There’s a $7 fix though. BG StopSqueal fixes it in a

May I ask what car you drive? Please say it isn’t a Honda Civic Si. With all your ‘performance-speak’ that’s kinda what I’m expecting here.

I don’t know what you’re talking about with the lower lip. I had an 09 and never had problems with the lower lip. I would, however, suggest getting an 09 or newer since the waterfall dash and instruments were upgraded as well as you get the new sapphire key with it. You’ll also get the 4.7L V8 with 420hp. All in all a

Maybe I’m surrounded by asshats that make REALLY dangerous move with their cars, or that first video is just a whiny little boy who thinks everyone is out to kill him. None, and I mean none, of those moments caught on cam (ok, I could only watch a couple minutes before I nearly died of boredom) were even remotely

The oil change on a V8 Vantage will run about $260 - there are multiple filters. For a V12 there are I believe 4 filters total that need to be changed and getting to them requires much more work than the V8. Yes, there are Ford, Volvo, and Jag parts in this car, but anything more than exhaust or brake work I had to

I think I can offer some advice since I owned both of these cars, one after the other, until just recently. I bought a 2013 M3 Conv a couple years ago. I wanted to own one of the last V8’s, thinking it was going to be some kind of investment - wrong! lol

I have to submit one of my favorite cars of all time - the BMW 8-series.

Man I hope so!

That was kinda hot.

God I loved this car. What a killer design.

Pontiac, amiright? I rarely liked any of their cars, and the ones I kinda did like were more BBQ than automobile. This is one carmaker that I will not miss. Now what to do with Buick...

I ALWAYS loved this car. I nearly had a 400 in my 20's, but I couldn't convince my boss to give me the raise that would've made it feasible. The styling was so cool, in that 'used bar of soap' way. When they restyled it and made it tiny it just wasn't the same. I'd love to see Lexus bring back a tribute to this style!
