I think the S2000's power to weight ratio made it very competitive. And you're right, other cars had more power. I guess it's in the execution, and having an engine that lends itself well to forced induction and other mods. Hopefully they didn't trip over themselves when they made this latest Civic.

I partially agree with you. We have an 04 cab, and there's just something about the lines of the coupe that the earlier cabs can't replicate. That smooth arc of the side glass and continuous flow of the roofline down to the rear engine grills. It's perfect.
