That was the best advice my parents ever gave me when moving out of an apartment. Just make sure it's not Aqua Fresh.

I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. The Altec you mention reminds me of the boomboxes of yore. Definitely would not go with my style. But to each their own. I personally was impressed with the sound from the Logitech S715i. It's small with a big sound and simply works well. And you can find it

I've had absolutely no issues with heat or charging as reported here. I'm always an early adopter and I agree the first iPhone was fraught with issues. But Apple support was incredibly quick to replace them at no charge or inconvenience to me (I went through 3 in the first 2 weeks). Maybe there's a part of people

I guess I never saw much sport in hunting as a game. It brings a visceral reaction when I see people with horns on display in their home. The majesty of these animals to me is in the wild. Hunting for food I can understand, but the sport makes me sad. I know others don't share my opinion, and I'm okay with that.

Yeah, big man with a gun can kill something even bigger than him. Let's fight fair and drop that gun. Then we'll see how long you last with a pachyderm.

True. I was talking about my personal stockpile of lights.

Fireworks going TO China? I bet that was the 1st clue.

Christmas lights will no longer be the bane of me if this ever makes in into their production. Well, actually they'll all be LED by that time, but it was still nice to think about.

This is amazing. Never heard of this before either. If I were there, you'd probably see me trying to get all those cute little starfish out of harm's way. I love starfish... cute little things.

I'll comment just as soon as I stop throwing up in my mouth.

Now playing

I hope this means we're getting closer to the replicator. I just can't wait to tell a machine "Tea, Earl Grey, HOT".

I agree. I'm thinking that they're kicking themselves though. It seems by the response of the price drop that they could have dropped the price less and still had a similar reaction. Bummer for HP

I love that comment. You've been hearted.

And I would venture a bet that the hospital was basing its pricing off the fact this gentleman had insurance. If you go in as a cash patient, it is almost always a significant savings.

Neat repurposing of the accelerometer. There is a free one available too, if you're having trouble finding a dollar.

Kim Kardashian just found her next wedding ring's centerpiece.

And let's not forget the Newton. It too ahead of its time to be fully appreciated, but it sparked other companies like Palm & Handspring to create similar products very successfully.

I agree, I think it is a loop. But still an amazing story. I am now regretting not keeping tissues at my desk. Thank you, Jesus, for this post.

I do have to say that I'm impressed how this all went down. The stock prices barely even fluctuated. Very well laid out plan.

I can't imagine running worldwide operations for anything. I can barely keep an eye on all my junk in the house, and there's a LOT of Apple stuff in there. It boggles my mind.
