Awesome. I'm curious, though, about the tech used to do this. Some parts (esp. the dancer in the beginning) look computer-ish. If this wasn't done with 40s tech then in some sense it's more of a 'version' of Destino than an actual Dali/Disney team-up. Still cool, but maybe a smidge less organic-looking than a 40s…

Here's an idea - if producers are so hot to 'upgrade' (ie, ruin) the most distinctive, original aspect of a movie - the thing the movie is *named after* - maybe they should just MAKE A NEW FUCKING MOVIE instead...

Updating PV is especially dumb b/c the character's awesomeness came from being a relic of a bygone era. He was the Universal-to-Hammer years of horror incarnate, washed up in the age of the 80s slasher but then redeemed. The movie's *named after* the character's TV show, ferkrissakes! Not that any of that will matter…

Meh. Colin Farrell in a wifebeater =/= scary. And Chris Angel instead of an old-school Hammer Bros style star is just annoying. 'Update' is not the same thing as 'upgrade.'
