I still can't believe how many people thought *Cloverfield* was anything other than preposterous and boring. There were so many things wrong with that movie — and the woefully stretched conceit of the guy toting around the camera was one of the biggies.

I love how the kobolds sorta look like pigeons, the 'nuisance monsters' of the big city. I'd love to see a whole NYC or Paris cityscape with D&D critters — purple worm subway trains, busking bards, etc.
