Most of FFXIV’s MogStation items are things you could earn in game that eventually get to the store. I...huh? Also, more often than not the decision to put in microtransactions in video games is on the publisher. The actual people who make the game often have nothing to do with that, but get shit on because they’re the public face for the game.

So since I don’t play FFXIV I decided to Google it from what I can see there’s some form of micro transaction that you can use to buy vanity. The only gamling seems to be at the Gold Saucer where you play mini games that gives you points that you can redeem for rewards, like an arcade.

I wonder what the asshats are even complaining about. The queues are not the devs’ fault (and they are not nearly as bad on the JP servers), and pretty much everything else about Endwalker is a total delight.

I mean, nothing gives you the right to attack someone online because of trivial matters. You can have a discussion about those topics without trying to hurt the other person as well.
