I honestly think the media narrative around this is mostly false. Perhaps you think otherwise. I don’t think sexism is OK, and it grosses me out when I see Sanders supporters using it, but among the people I know IRL, where it counts, I don’t see it on a regular basis. That’s about all I can do.

Clinton won’t help the path to a Warren presidency, it will have the opposite effect. Clinton’s established interests and Warren are diametrically opposed re: Wall Street regulation.

Christ almighty...no I chose to define her in relationship to one of the 2 existing candidates. If she was like Hillary I would’ve said Hillary Lite.

No, Jesus asks people to follow him. You’re backwards, there.

I know some supporters are assholes, but that’s mostly because people are assholes. Like I’ve said in a few other threads, I have had HRC supporters be nasty to me. I agree that everyone should try their best to be civil. I just honestly think this “berniebro” thing is much exaggerated. Very few people I know IRL who

I remember someone was explaining to me why Hillary would be able to get stuff done with Republicans more than Bernie would, and I said, “Hillary said one of enemies she is most proud of making is Republicans at the first debate” and I got called a Berniebro. All I did was repeat what she said! I have seen some sexist

Right? It’s like any arguement, no matter how polite or substantive, can be shut down by “BERNIEBRO!”

I just really can’t stand it when I comment on the policies of Bernie and why I prefer them, then I get attacked for just being a stupid millennial who is being unrealistic and is voting for a candidate who won’t get anything done.

Yes, Bernie has annoying supporters who are misogynist.

I’ve seen several people in on this very page saying exactly that. Scroll up.

Never underestimate the libertarian’s capacity for cognitive dissonance, friend.

No doubt.
It’s like don’t be total idiots people, is that so difficult?
(looks around at the internet. shakes head. sighs)

As a long time Sanders supporter and someone who is probably too old to be a bro, this also bugs me, as there are more than enough reasons to support Sanders over Clinton, and more than enough sharp points to make about Clinton’s deficiencies without having to resort to sexism.

“No she’s a fucking twat,” said another. “I am of the opinion that $hillary is a fucking twat. TWAT TWAT TWAT. Bye felicia!”

I support Bernie because he has been correct on many issue that Hillary has flip-flopped on.

Iraq war
TPP
XL Pipeline
Gay marriage

I’m a Bernie supporter and made a polite comment on a Planned Parenthood facebook page, saying I disagreed with their decision to endorse a candidate. Didn’t even mention Bernie Sanders. I got multipe abusive responses within minutes. Bad behavior is not limited to one camp.

I worked professionally in Democratic/Left politics for a decade, as such I have many friends who are politically active on facebook. I am voting for Sanders but have been upset in the past week about a couple things (calling Planned Parenthood the establishment he is battling and some dumb blog about why we need a

Also, if you are incapable of understanding the difference between a candidate and a candidate's supporters, maybe stay home on election day.

The problem is people who don’t want to vote for Sanders because of a few people on Twitter. Not of his politics nor policies, but of people on Twitter. It takes real privilege to not vote due to some mean people on Twitter.

Bernie Sanders has some annoying sexist fans.
