They just say the name. I completely disagree with the assertion that this could have ONLY happened one of three ways. The restaurant should not have designed these drinks so similarly.

a lot of training in restaurants I worked at was very much sink or swim with little instruction beyond "don't fuck up". Workers are disposable in those places.

I've worked in restaurants and it's very possible she said to a teenager hostess or food runner or bus boy "go get me 2 shark nibbles for table 10" and the kid either asked the bar for the wrong thing or grabbed the wrong drinks.

That means a shit load of extra sugar and hydration if it's a 1.5 ounce shot in a huge cup. Restaurants seriously skimp on the booze for those drinks.

You're speaking out of your ass. Hostesses and food runners move drinks and food too (don't tell me they don't, I've worked in the industry too). Many employees are young and inexperienced. Restaurants are very hectic places and these two drinks were stupidly designed to be very similar.
