Can't you just get one of those discs with the brushes on them? I have one and use it all the time on DVD drives, and VG consoles. IF there really is dust on it the problem should be taken care of.

What spec thing would you increase on the DS? I mean it wasn't like the PSP where the new 64MB of RAM was very usefull for not only games, but other functions on the PSP.
