My cat will pounce you if you call her bad.

I had a similar reaction to Thick as Thieves. I think for me it's because it had a similar vibe to the first book, which is my least favorite. And I didn't really connect to Kamet. Also there wasn't really any tension.

It was really good. It's the reason why I'm not really reading anything right now. It has a few similarities to that series.

I'm not sure. I first read them when I was in college. The only thing that has surprised so far is how short they are, I binged read them the first so I remembered them being a lot longer. I really like them though.

Finished: Thick as Thieves by Megan Whalen Turner and a Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

We clearly have two very different views on that scene.

They didn't equate it to modern relationships. It was just 2 of the soldiers saying they like men. What exactly was inaccurate? And yes I know that the relationships weren't exactly the same but nobody is saying they were.

I wouldn't call it wildly inaccurate. It's exaggerated but there is good amount of documentation on Homosexuality in Ancient Rome.

I really don't understand what was going on with the monster, but it was a pretty fun episode. Bill with the Romans and Nardole with the Picts was entertaining.

Considering what their Gods and Goddesses were up to it would be hard for them to be close-minded.

CDC cover up. I find it hard to believe they introduced Katty just for Peyton/Ravi drama.

I'm thinking he'll die protecting Major.

Belated congratulations on getting more Twitter love from Rahul Kohli.

Liv, Blaine, and Don E eating that guy's brain was right up there with Vivian and the soldiers eating Rob Thomas' brain.

Yes. It's nice having him sidelined once in a while. Subtly is not the show's strong suit.

I liked this episode. It's one of those nice lazy weekend episodes.

Meh. I knew the name Friday was from an old British novel but I didn't know it was specifically from Robison Crusoe. And I only have a vague idea of what it's about. Mostly because I'm not really interested in Victorian novels and clearly Bill isn't either.

I took a Geology class and the first day of class, the professor told us he would not accept God as a answer for anything. And reminded us that it was a science class. It made me wonder just how often he had that happened.

Yeah.

It's Sir Jay. Liv says she doesn't remember his character being knighted. And he's says he's not a knight. His first name is Sir.
