Getting close to my 50th hour in Skyrim. Just kinda hit a brick wall with a near-impossible Draugr Deathlord in Valthume. I'll have to play with my strategy or just retreat until I get to a higher level. That's what I'll be doing this weekend. Maybe Batman too if I decide I want to spend my birthday money on it. Oh,

My mistake!

I haven't purchased a CoD game since World at War.

Uh, who cares? Cool, some kids don't have a life so they leveled up on the latest COD remake.

What are games? All I know is Skyrim and Blockyspace.

BUT Y I NO BY IT BAK WEN IT QUZ LS SPENZIV OMG NACHO NVR SED NUFFIN BOUT BIG PRICE

I see what you tried to do there but it didn't make sense. Minecraft=/=Scrolls=Skyrim (duh)

Negative, captain.

What is that, banded iron? Level 20 and you're in banded iron? Or am I mistaken?

I would, but the game just decided to take a shit on me and gave me a nice CTD. He's an ugly ass Imperial, though.

Also, mods.

Plunkett played it. Narcisse talks like he's played it. Fahey's the only one who doesn't say anything even suggesting that he's played it. Regardless, they're giving their opinion and they're entitled to that. You can still read a "no" answer and decide that you like the things that they don't, or vice versa.

Simple solution: Don't listen to this.

Cool story bro. If you're not into RPGs then okay, plenty of other games to play. A lot of people are going pretty nuts over this game, though. It's good, but it's not THAT good. Plenty of flaws to make it a bit frustrating, even on consoles I'm sure. (I'm a PC player, and I won't even go into that.)

Those are the two things that keep me in a game, personally. I can deal with game mechanics as long as they don't render the game nearly unplayable.

Then you're picky :P I'm 13 hours in and there's still a hell of a lot more to do. But yeah, 20+ hours is a solid purchase by today's standards. Though, Dragon Age: Origins gave me 55+ with still more to do, in just one playthrough. That was a satisfying game.

Okay, first of all, the different between Morrowind and Oblivion as far as combat goes it HUGE.

I felt the same way about Oblivion, but then I just realized that I wasn't doing it right. It's no fun if you just hack and slash. But if you actually took your time and used everything they gave you, blocking and attacking when your enemy stumbles, then taking that opportunity to deal out some real damage before they

Good to see that most of those are issues are superficial and don't matter much to me. A bit disappointing that the dragons aren't tough, but that's what difficulty sliders and mods are for. So, yeah, use the difficulty slider and maybe they'll become more tough.

Yeah I ended up turning off AA and HBAO or whatever and it seems to be more stable. Must not be powerful enough for all of that.
