The trailer for this looks terrible to me, and I don’t think I can trust Shyamalan again after sitting through the absolute shitfest that was Glass. It’s a shame, because I really loved Sixth Sense, but feel like Shyamalan really doesn’t understand what made that movie so successful - not just a good twist, but strong

Sexy Beasts...is...a...well-done...Shakespearean tragedy.” — Saloni Gajjar, The A.V. Club

A major takeaway from Season 1 is that Natalie Holt is a phenomenal composer. I just loved the music and how it kept building and reinventing through the final episode.

i take it you haven’t spent as many hours kissing mirrors in drag as i have.

I’m genuinely curious why the throwback slasher horrors aimed at a broadly young demographic is being reviewed by the person AV Club sends on festival circuits to review obscure indie films, and not someone that can actually critique the films for what they are- these two reviews read like someone who’s watched both

A New Zealander named Thomas Kiwi?

I was never too concerned about his career prospects. He has a lot of options, being that he’s a jack of all trades.

Is it just me or did I get a “Tears in the Rain” vibe during Loki’s realization scene?

What is it with apples and apples?

You aren’t missing anything. This think piece is completely pointless, even if it did have any sort of coherent argument to make. Which it doesn’t.

I really can’t be bothered to be upset about Blink-182 doing their schtick in 1999, but it’s fun to imagine them playing a concert with Modest Mouse and both bands finding each other insufferable, so that’s nice.

I think my mother was the only person who liked the Hawkpeople, and she only liked the way they swooped. Which is fair, who doesn’t like a good swoop.

It’s hard to top this as a truly surprising, delightful, “i can’t believe they are doing that” moment. I was gasping.

I used to be a barista, and I can’t believe how far the show has come in all this time!

Too soon!

Counterpoint: this douchey show sucked and his using the term PC invalidates his opinion
