I rarely listen to music on either my phone or ipod. The exception being when I travel, and then I use my ipod so I don't drain my phone's battery too quickly.

@DavinClytias: I'd upmod that comment if this was reddit...

@bachya: My Postbox updated itself automagically, didn't pay a cent... not quite sure what the fee is for.

@saffyre9: Also, awesome way to save money? Live in a university town and look young for your age. I'm not a student, but I often get student discounts applied to sales automatically because I look young enough to be a student. Or if they ask and I say I'm not, some places will be nice enough to give a discount for

I kept reading the title of this as "Velcro Sneakers.." and didn't understand why that was a big deal.

Love it. Can they hire me?

Now this is an essential life hack. Awesome.

Often when I'm working, I'll keep the tv on in the background for noise. But if I'm chillaxing on the couch I'll usually have my netbook on for twitter/chat.

I'm starting to lose count of how many websites I've seen this on so far this summer...

No, I live in Canada, I pay more than enough for my cell phone already, thx.

When I moved into residence in first year, I only brought what I thought I needed (1 suitcase). However, every time I went home I ended up bringing back more stuff, so that when I moved out at the end of the year I filled 3 cars. Fortunately, I lived close enough to home (1.5 hour drive) that if/when there was

On weekdays, I don't go online until I'm at work. My mornings are too hectic to turn the computer on. Of course, the first 20-30 minutes of my work day is spent checking emails, organizing my to-do list for the day, reading feeds, etc.

@Miranda: Yeah really. G does this well enough on it's own 90% of the time, the other 10% my twitter followers could probably figure it out. Don't need yet *another* site to try to remember the URL to.

I bought my netbook for two things: paying bills from the couch, and travel.

I voted for both, but that's not entirely accurate. For my personal account, I have Google Apps for your domain, and have abandonned desktop clients altogether. But at work, our webmail makes me want to poke my eyes out, so I use a desktop client unless I absolutely need access remotely. Currently trying Postbox. I
