I felt dirty watching even the clips I’ve seen of their shows. It was just so exploitative and grotesque and bizarre. And the vultures making the show were no John waters.

They should have been taken away the minute she decided to bring the piece of shit man who molested her older daughter back around after getting out of prison. I mean, jfc. Clearly she cares much more about herself than any of her children’s wellbeing.

Yeah, I feel bad for the kids involved. Some of them might be pieces of shit, but others might just be the victim of a long line of hijinks of a narcissistic parent.

As vapid and as detestable as she is, I’m starting to get uncomfortable with her being the lightning rod for coverage of the entire scandal.

Probably an unpopular opinion. But I kind of feel bad for her she didn’t even want to go to college she said before her parents pressured her. And although she was complicit the adults in the room thought this was a good idea and funded it. At that age I would do anything my mom wanted.

I think less than a year with NO crisis manager. This rando has just become SO FAMOUS. She just needs to keep her follower count up, and she’s gained a hundred thousand followers since the scandal broke. She’ll have a new makeup palette in six months.

I don’t feel bad for her but I think it’s shady and opportunistic as hell that jezebel is making her the face of the scandal when she’s not even one of the people who’s been indicted. She’s just one to the kids whose parents bribed oficials. The criminals are the parents and the network of scammers and coaches who

If I had a nickle for every time someone had skealked my identity, I’d be able to hire an editor.

Horrific abuse is really the only thing that can explain the state of everyone in that family.

I think you’re right: it’s both. The Jackson family household was rife with abuse of all kinds and La Toya later milked the truth of their upbringing for attention.

I remember this entire thing. Everyone thought she was just Jackson’s crazy sister, trying to piggyback his fame...talking like him, looking like him, ect. The talk shows and tabloids (which if you weren’t around then, it was the be-all-end-all of pop culture and celebrity news) had a field day talking about her, and

At the end of this whole thing, Cassie will grudgingly get together with Colton, likely with some financial inducement by ABC so she gives the show its “fairy tale” ending.

That case should have been a slam dunk, but the victim and her parents denied it was her on the tape. The victim’s father worked for R Kelly and was likely paid off, and it makes sense that the little girl was (a) pressured into lying and (b) afraid of the shame that would be piled on if she admitted to being the

He was blaming the parents for selling their daughters to him, which would be undoubtedly horrible if true, but he doesn’t seem to realize that means he was trying to buy them.

“...and if you get any traction from that, if you’re able to write a book from that, get a reality show from that...”

If you have to ask yourself if they’re legal, they’re too young for you, bro!

At the very least, this is him admitting there is truth to the allegations. “I just look at legal” is not a normal thing to say for a 50 something year old man trying to distance himself from the belief that he likes to have group sex with very young girls. He is a delusional narcissist, and has now displayed that for

I think she would exist in a matriarchy as well.  I think she is more a product of capitalism than gender politics.

She is a fucking incredible con artist. She cultivated a personal story and fake business idea that so specifically and elegantly appealed to the combined bullshit-gobbling instincts of Silicon Valley and the interested media that I can’t help but give her a slow clap on the way to her prison cell.

I kind of get the voice thing. I mean, tech is so sexist their voice recognition software doesn’t work as well for women’s voices, and works much better if you lower your voice. I figure she was applying that same logic to her interactions with the public.
