It would be nice if these ads could show people engaging in unhealthy habits and then getting sick...or something. I feel like the ads, especially the first one, are trying to resonate quickly with an audience, so they go for the visual. A mom might be watching and then have that commercial click into place when she

ooh - that's interesting. the other photos of her in Amsterdam looking thinner (like photos of her the night before her concert) are also in dark glasses and appear thinner. A look-alike could make sense. i am usually not into these "conspiracy theory"type discussions, but this one is just odd.

As someone who has lived with an addict - you can "help" for so long before you just have nothing left to give and realize you are spending all of you energy on this person who you care about but who does nothing to make themselves better. Honestly, having been there, but also looking in on that from the outside

not body snarking. But, how is there such a diffrence in her chin/neck area? you can't corset that. And she's not really holding her head a weird angle here. But, really, don't get it; that's when I start to wonder about the timing of the different photos or the authenticity of them.

I kinda read this as - because she tends to bulk up she has to be on a strict diet, but she doesn't like that at so she is trying to find something new.

I like how the Bravo rep think we will believe that she wasn't in the picture because she was close to giving birth. I mean, in this day and age I completely expect that absent person to be photohopped in. And, I'm pretty sure Bravo has dome something like that in the pst. So, yea, not buying it.

Get's me EVERY time I see the trailer.

I think it's riskier on film, though. A theatre audience is going to be more foregiving if the sound quality (and that includes everything the microphone in a film might pick up, not just the voices) is not quite perfect. But a film audience is going to be unhappy if anything other than a crystal clear voice comes

Me too!!

No. I totally get what Anne Hathaway means. She can choose to sing it pretty, to have her voice sound beautiul without potential flaws, and have audencies praise her amazing singing voice; or, she can choose to get lost in teh character and maybe sputter a note here or there or not hit everything quite right. When

the pieces flow beautifully. But I only see maybe on outfit that can be work by a woman with any hips at all. Sad.

Hmmm. interesting. I don't know how that works, especially since she shows a lot of skin. Her legs look legitimately bigger as does her belly. But, yeah, that one shot of her with a double chin in teh daily mail post doesn't match the picture taken of her the night before with no double chin - and no, the double

Yeah, even if that statement's not technically medically accurate every time you have sex; better safe than sorry, so it's a thought that I espouse highly

I recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility," even if you're nowhere near trying to get pregnant it is an amazing education about reproduction and menstruation/ovulation cycle.

Mental illness or subtance abuse aside, it has to be hard growing up honing a craft just to find that it doesn't work for you once you reach a certain age anymore. In most other professions if you learn a craft, and have worked at it for years, you can pretty much count on those skills as you move into the future.

I a simultaneously intrigued and repulsed by CDAN, as I assume are most of the readers. But, I just can't get past the fact that most people assume what is written on CDAN is true. If some of that were printed with names, places, and dates, people would be like "Please - I don't believe you." But, because they are

yeah - I find the correcting completely unecessary. You knew what I meant, so why bother "correcting" me.

I do think NorCal is new and probably originated in SoCal. Maybe. Maybe NorCal folks just felt left our and named themselves. :) It took me awhile to actually use it though.

There are definitely people IN California who say "Cali" (see some celebrities - specifically hip-hop artists, even those that grew up here). Can't stand it.

In OK it was always "I-35" or "I-40." And yes, only in CA have i heard the term "freeway."
