But miku originated as a vocaloid and is most prominent and well known as a vocaloid. You wouldn't call james bond a video game character even though he has games, same thing applies here.

Quick thing, and I'm sure you're seeing it a lot already, but Miku isn't a videogame character. You should change it to Vocaloid or Virtual Singer. Just a heads up before you get a lot of crap.
