Phantom Menace deserved all the rage it got, but I mostly remember people being psyched for it until they actually saw the movie. I also don't consider Ghostbusters to be on the same cultural importance level as Star Wars but maybe that one's on me.

I know there are thousands of articles already on this, but I'm choosing this one in which to call bullshit. Hollywood churns out dozens of shitty remakes a year yet not one of them has gotten the pre-emptive backlash based only on the trailer that this one has gotten. Is it a shitty trailer? Sure. Will it be a shitty…
That's deep, Wyoming.
Wow, why does HBO release descriptions for episodes past the upcoming one? Knowing who's safe takes a little bit of the excitement out of it.
Someone's going down in King's Landing, but it's anyone's guess who. I like those 25-1 odds on Olenna Tyrell, but I'd also like to see her stick around and keep scheming. I'd consider betting on Kevan Lannister too. I like that actor a lot but the character doesn't seem to have much to do except sit around and not be…
Can we start getting reappearance odds for the next one? I can't be the only one wondering when/if we'll see the likes of important disappeared characters like Benjen Stark, Gendry, and Nymeria the direwolf again. There are probably some others I'm forgetting.
Davos has done nothing wrong, but it's pretty likely Brienne considers anyone who helped Stannis to be an enemy. From a storytelling perspective it would get viewers hating Brienne which would be an interesting turn. Plus they love killing off morally upright dudes.
Brienne kills Melissandre and Davos. Tormund helps.
I always thought "Kevin Lannister" was a funny name, then I found out it's spelled Kevan, but it's still funny.
Pretty sure that's "Svartmesse" with the "Edge of Seventeen" intro, not the title track.
Roose Bolton was quite smart, he just had a blind spot when it comes to his son.
Well done Wanserski. Surprised nobody had Khal Moro, seems kind of obvious in retrospect but I kind of glossed over him with his 10:1 odds on the list too.
The over/under is 3 ½. So you can get 2:1 odds on 3 or fewer characters dying (under) or 4 or more characters (over)
Best buy here is Robin at 50-1 odds, given Littlefinger's history of killing Arryns. I'd also take Osha at 4-1, as I can't imagine why they would kill Rickon but not Osha. I wouldn't touch Ramsay at 2-1, he's clearly got more awful shit to do this season.
It's pretty simple: a substantial portion of the people who hear this album will have the wind completely knocked out of them without ever fully understanding why. I'm one of them. It's hard to say whether In The Aeroplane Over the Sea is the "best album of all time", but there's absolutely nothing else that hits me…
Really? I didn't see it coming at all and was psyched for a full season of watching them secretly build this platform.
Maybe, but 25-1 odds for Olly were ridiculous.
He's definitely more of a tragic character than straight-up monsters like Ramsay Bolton or Joffrey (also a child-villain). Olly's on the wrong side for pretty understandable reasons.
Another great example: Olly, a child, is treated as a full-fledged villain who bears responsibility for his actions. And yeah, the show portrays him as probably having made the wrong decision, but in an adult way similar to that of Alliser Thorne and the others, rather than having made the wrong decision simply…
This guy sounds so much like someone I could have gone to college with. The kind of guy who is very smart but a little too aware of it, loves to talk a lot during class, and is probably double majoring in music and philosophy or some shit. The kind of guy who is usually right about stuff but you hate him for it…
