I can understand UI preferance, but they were Trying to be more iOS/Android UI Esque, obviously. They just didn't do it quite as well as some would like, the buttons are so big I already have 3 pages of items on mine.

Never said it would make it less shitty, means you'd eventually stop complaining. Hell, have you ever seen someone whom has never used the XMB use it? They'd have a way harder time with that than the Vita interface...I think this one is more about being simplistic than it is being functional, which is [sad...but]

Can get used to any [UI...so] long as it has all the functions present

Minis are pretty close to that now...

Yeah

Something to get used to.

It's pretty when you see it on the system. My only gripe thus far after having it is that Everything has to be "Started" by clicking the page's icon, not annoying for some things, but settings gets there

Better Excuse: Licensing issues, Used game market causing problems and people using it to take advantage of the program, it not actually being wanted by enough people in surveys, just can't afford it, don't want to piss off retailers....That's about all I've got.

Most likely cost of licensing in US, Along with the amount of customers who they think would actually use it....versus the amount of customers whom would abuse it due to the used game market here where people would buy up the games, put them in a PSP to do passporting, then sell back to the used game store....

We still will have one issue, though...the PS Vita buttons/joysticks are pretty tiny...if it were a phone and the only portable device, chances are people would want it to be smaller yet and those buttons would be even smaller. The Xperia play comes with a lot of interesting features, but its negatives really kill

Well, I will give you the benefit of the doubt in saying that IF games were made for let's say 20-30 games, that would eventually lessen that expectation to Gamers. People whom are buying the 1-2 dollar games, probably are not just going to start buying 20-30 games when they're available simply because of production

Yes, and PCs do not increase in specifications as fast as Phones currently are...Phones lately have been twice as fast as the previous year.

I'm sorry, but a Phone just won't be as powerful for a while...And how are developers supposed to make games like Naughty Dog makes, Activision's real titles, Insomniac....when the hardware changes every year. Regardless of what they do, it's not going to be enough for some people. The PS Vita will probably, through

Zynga does not make as much money as they seem...Last year their revenue was over 1Billion and they reported a 400Million dollar loss....Mobile games are not automatically awesome...they put out a ton just to get the ball rolling, but even with as many downloads as they have....I for one have never clicked in ad in

It's not always just the graphics...it's the amount of graphics with all the physics engine properties running around. Movement and Textures take a pretty good amount of power...and I don't really think that this video is meant to showcase graphics, so I don't even Really know why you brought it up...but now that you

Its still a new medium for games of that size...I get the feeling that they will figure it out. But keep in mind that even though they have it digitally, they still are required to cater retailers. Retailers would be pissed if no one bought that area of shelf space because online it's 25% cheaper.

Perhaps....but here's the thing, those phones will be trumped soon after, so developers will not have a REAL chance to develop on them, while this will still be sold and supported, so having one good game on a phone is far less enticing than a Library of games specifically optimized for it.

Okay, honestly....People whom want them to show gameplay are people whom have seen the gameplay. It all starts with grabbing interest, Then showing gameplay, they won't care if you show gameplay if they're not intrigued first...I just hope this isn't the only ad they plan on running in the launch window.
