I agree with this concern. One of the things I like about the AV Club is that you don't have to be a 'regular' to get into the conversation
Thank you!
Same for me.
I have the same question. Can I merge them?
And… well, blocking isn't just about trolls. There's some people I have blocked that simply annoy me - but I wouldn't want to stop the community from seeing their comments.
Cool, will do so.
Hey, dude, I know you're a techie, but learn some PR! When a community is upset telling them to put a little work is akin to pouring some fuel onto the fire of our outrage.
Oh, Gameological has a Discord?
Because of the Marvel acquisition, he's also a major Disney shareholder. I doubt they'll do anything unless he fails and/or Disney thinks they could be earning more money.
Kirby and Lee were Jewish and grew up in a time when that was still fairly meaningful to one's view of oppression.
I'm glad he got kicked out - Dead Jan is the opposite of fun.
And they even alienated some of the hardcore nerds too. And the new readers that came in with stuff like Ms Marvel.
I'm just saying that neither Spider-Man or GotG were bad and GotG outperformed WW (and Spider-Man isn't really trailing that much behind). The Marvel movies remain consistently good, they remain a blockbuster powerhouse and Justice League is still up in the air.
I haven't watched WW, but Logan was… well, it was something else. Definitely the best comic book movie so far. Spider-Man and GotG2 were very enjoyable.
Eh, IM2 and Thor weren't particularly good either, though. And Ant-Man already showed that it doesn't always dominate box office. IDK, I don't see such a huge change, specially since worldwide Marvel still outperformed WW.
'And if you're in a foreign market, TOUGH LUCK.'
I wonder if the dissonance of people liking a DC movie was too much for him.
And with the Zemo that wears a sock on his face!
The reason Marvel 'admitted defeat' and cancelled the Inhumans movie is that Feige, the dude in charge of Marvel Studios, hated the idea. Perlmutter, dude in charge of Marvel general, loved it.
