FWIW, that's msotly what I mean by 'savescumming'. For me, it's more of a 'playing the game the way I enjoy it' machine than a 'victory' machine. It's not so much that I don't want to lose soldiers or missions, but I want to lose them in a way that feels meaningful and not just because I clicked the wrong place

Yes, she actually outright tells you (in a Low Chaos playthrough) and the ending slides say that 'Billie Lurk stepped out of Meagan Foster's shadows and went to search for the closest thing to family she had'. So for me there will be a 'The Search for Daud' DLC or at least Arkane wants it to be.

It's not that hard or that ridiculous. I played it in English-with-Spanish-subtitles, and the Spanish subtitles cut to the core of the dialogue. (They mostly always do, it's kinda of endearing. 'King Dynast' makes more sense than 'Dynast-king', for example, and 'sun crystal' makes more sense than 'sun-cryst'.)

My plans for the summer are to slowly grind down my games backlog and so far it's been a success.

One of the things I'm really… surprised about is how the assets repeat and yet I've never realized. It does seem like every couch is perfect for its place and the Duke's place was amazing.

I don't think that the non-lethal paths are supposse to be justice - they're supposed to be revenge and/or a pragmatic way to deal with people.

And in many ways, the moments that are more emotionalyl resonant in the game are about that worldbuilding and level design.
