I love Hillary but she’s managed to justify her husband’s behavior to herself their entire relationship so she clearly has some industrial strength blinkers for this behavior.

I think it’s more like, “it never made me uncomfortable why is it making you uncomfortable?”

Trump has one mode: Believing everything he says the moment he says it, only as long as that moment lasts.

This is not one of those signature Trump defects that can readily be spun into a secret strength or as a subtle bit of advanced dealcraft that only experts and initiates can appreciate

This is proof positive of two things: a) how incredibly stupid/ignorant he is, and b) that he has absolutely no moral/ethical compass. It seems that in this instance, he literally thinks he did nothing wrong, and so he is *rightfully* confused by the fact that revealing what he did isn’t doing for him what he thinks…

It’s the narcissism. Narcissists are incapable of seeing the world around them. Their own actions are perfect and if they mess up they think they can just “re-edit” the situation to minimize their actions or make themselves the victims. It’s the fault of anyone who doesn’t go along with his schemes for being upset.

Because he knows that he will never please people except the drooling morons that come to his rallies.  That’s what he loves.  Going to those rallies and his safe spaces.  He starts being an actual reasonable President and he’d be abandoned by those morons and never loved by people who can read.

I don’t think he realizes how much of a mistake talking like a Mob goon was-- if there’s one thing even his base watches more than Fox it’s cop shows-- his speech pattern makes him look more guilty not less. 

Honestly, that stood out to me more than anything. “Sources confirmed he doesn’t want to be impeached?” Ace fucking reporting, that.

To borrow from another article/comment elsewhere, him thinking there’s technically no quid pro quo so he’s clear is like how Mafia goons would talk about moving shipments of “shirts”, and then be dumbfounded when prosecutors/FBI/etc knew they were talking about Drugs and charged them over it. Hint, when you start…

It being released to Congress isn’t the same as the public getting to see it.

I’d be less excited about that than finding out how much he’s really worth. It would be great to see the commercial “Trump says he’s worth $3.8B dollars, but in reality, his tax returns show he owes Deutsche Bank$152M. If he’s lying about that, what else is he lying about?”

Impeachment...not fun, and perhaps even bad for your image? Who coulda guessed!

I still want his financial information. Want that smoking gun that shows he was funded by laundered Russian money going through Deutsche Bank’s Estonia subsidiary.
