This is a story that has been reported since at least the 90s. I’m glad it might be gaining traction now but these people have been getting away with it for decades, despite it being fully known. It’s heartbreaking but isn’t really something that is a surprise.

It isn't because the land is holy. It's because Israel (a country whose borders were decided by the Allies of WWII) is basically an occupying force to the Palestinians that live there, and their land keeps getting annexed and houses bulldozed so that Israelis can settle it.

I went to highschool at some point in my early 20s. I needed another credit for the degree I wanted. Questions were asked when I dropped all my other classes, but I think they were happy for the funding.

My dad made 4.25/h in the early 80s, but had amazing benefits and a pension. Twenty years later I was making 8.33/h with no benefits or pension.

I do not have an MBA, but a number of my friends forked the $30k or so for one. They're all just as smart and useful than they were without the degree. And still paying it off.
