I didn’t do too much this week. I’ve put out feelers with some friends in the charity/volunteer space, as well as some medical folk who have been involved in things like this in the past.

I owned a house around 20 years ago, the mortgage payment was $300 a month. I got sick and has to sell it. I will never be able to own again unless I hit a lottery. Bidding wars are pushing prices into the $1MM+ range, the same ones that cost $175-200k just a few years.

I can understand how people from other countries (lots of countries advertise the actual price including the taxes). But in North America??? Have these people lived their whole lives buying only tax-exempt or under the table things? Are they self-sustaining off the grid in the woods??
