Good luck trying to figure out which titles are your AAA titles and which titles you spent AAA money to develop that suck.

OK, this is my theory on what went down and why:

Wow. It would be so beyond illegal here in the States to charge different prices based on your place of residence.

I played it at the Nintendo World store. With a minder, who reminded me that this was a rhythm game and not at all like Guitar Hero or Rock Band, which are... rhythm games.

You know, there's DRM on console games - it's how you can region-encode games, for instance. But it's so unobtrusive that no one cares. Unless you use a modchip. Then you can't play your game online. Figure out how to make it that easy on a PC, and you'll be fine.

Haha - I've seen Luthor and you haven't.

It actually gets much better starting in episode 3, where he gives up and just uses the chipmunk voice speed up thingy to speak fast. It's a lot easier to understand chipmunk than a guy trying to be the Micro Machines guy and not quite getting there.

It's the standard pic that PA provides to mainstream publications that want headshots of the pair. It's popped up a bunch, and it never ceases to be funny.

@TheIrishNinja, @Thorax: Thanks guys. Like I said, I run Dawdle, which is a competitor to GameStop (in the broad sense - we're not a store, we're an online marketplace), but these are important legal principles. The way they treat employees/customers is a whole 'nother issue from the sale of used items, which is an

I have no love lost for GameStop, but every one of these posts brings out the hordes.

9:35pm CT on July 14, 2008: Reilly steals his first line from Bill Simmons on ESPN air.

Josh Hamilton missed a golden opportunity to practice his bunting skills there.

I am getting a Josh Hamilton Cubs jersey tomorrow. (Hey, he was one of ours for all of five minutes!)

@dowingba: Hunh. I've never had that issue here in Chicago. But I've only been to two places. Just another reason to open your own bar (as if anyone needed a reason past the liquor).

@JustJake: I take it you've never been to a Guitar Hero bar night. It's the new trivia night. Sure, there are people who are better than others - but the camaraderie is awesome.

@jacksinn: They're already announced: it's Philly in 2010. No southern teams any time soon.

I am paranoid scared that I'm going to miss my 6pm flight to SFO, but there's no way I'm skipping out before the late match tonight.

So I just got in from pub crawling around Lincoln Park in a Santa outfit. Anything interesting going on in the world of sports?
