law & order svu: loved it until Stabler left. I don't know if that's exactly when it fell apart but it's how I divide the 'before' and 'after' periods. I know they didn't WANT him to leave, so I get that they weren't ready to let go of the character, but you can't just transfer a personality from one male lead to the

But This Teenager Is A Writer & his voice must be heard! but speaking of terrible netflix journos, did you watch daredevil season 2? oh MAN was that finale a cringe fest!

his narration sounds like a 13 year old trying to get his head around iambic pentameter in class.

man oh man, i LOVE the awkward tiptoeing around the word 'abortion'. more than that, i love shows that want to Tackle The Big Issues but clearly do not have the guts to do so. to even NAME the issue! "he made me an APPOINTMENT… with a DOCTOR…." while clutching the baby bump. priceless. and talking like it's this evil,

the game of thrones trope is "character died OFF SCREEN!" which we all know by now means they aren't dead. (this also applies when the character was wounded on screen but we didn't actually get a "they're dead" confirmation in that scene, and they wake up next season.)

I just came from the Supergirl review & the sentence "My instinct tells me that Alex is probably gay," was very hard to read.

check out the lar gand wiki page, at the bottom of the mon-el section. it's been edited to better explain the character lol https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…

seriously though i'm annoyed that there was fairly significant development with 2 supergirl characters, but the development happened on a different show. crossovers should be a fun optional thing, not required reading. please, dc, i don't want to watch the flash or arrow. i've tried. i don't like them. please let me

alternate ending: mon-el died on the way back to his home planet

had to watch the video here bc the facebook post has 1000 comments from boring guys talking about how much they hated this movie. good interview though

are they actually? after she announced her divorce from the glee guy i wondered…

Plus he advised her to make the decision that got her fired. I know that wasn't his fault (partly because Kara ultimately made the decision, and party because he is very new to Earth still), but I wonder if the show will ignore that.

Lying to protect your secret identity so that you can simultaneously save lives and live your own normal, private life is not especially similar to being actively complicit in a slave regime, leaving your people to die while you flee the planet's destruction, and then telling people you were actually a slave yourself,

Oh man vindication was so close, but then Lyra had to go and actually feel things for the insufferable Winn. I hope Kara and Mon-el are genuinely over. The sooner she moves on to Lena, the better.

lbr they banged this out so they could do defenders, which absolutely should not be delaying JJ season 2. like, absolutely. bad idea. the last thing we need is more daredevil and iron fist

good lord i'm glad buffy and xander didn't get together. was anyone else pissed when xander berated buffy for letting riley go? or when he berated buffy bc he thought she was continuing to sleep with spike even though spike had just tried to rape her? (and it wasn't his goddamn business anyway!!!)

"fans loved how well it was done" um which fans???? the fans who wanted rory to spend 9 years floundering in her sense of self importance, achieving nothing of value?

I know it was meant as a joke & i probably would have left it at that if he didn't do it again, and if kara herself didn't complain about it later. it's either a breach of trust or it isn't - the show can't have it both ways

why did celeste give up her career when she has a full time nanny? might be something they're going to get into about how controlling her husband is.

and has kara dispensed with the whole secret-identity thing? in season 1 even alex called her supergirl at the DEO. now kara waltzes around the DEO in her civvies, allows herself to loudly be called 'kara' and clearly reacts to jeremiah as a daughter. and why bother with the glasses in the lead-walled DEO when
