@chloekinsicle: You totally can if you go to the UK version of this article. There will be a click-able heart.

I've had laughing gas for oral surgery, and that shit was amazing. It was not what I was expecting, that is for sure.

I skimmed it, and the general theme seems to be "eat dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate."

Personally, I wish that we had more than two political parties. I agree about the combination of different ideals leading to strength.

I don't think that anything extreme, like deregulation of drinking water, would pass. That's what I meant when I said I thought the dems could handle small-government curve balls.

A very patriotic version. ;)

You don't always breakup because you're not into the person anymore. Sometimes you breakup because you realize that the other person is an (incredibly hot) asshole or generally bad for you.

I was mostly talking about the young "Atlas Shrugged" libertarians.

Libertarians > Tea Party candidates.

Nominating for #cotd.

Ha. I only shave my legs for serious occasions: a job interview, a wedding, a performance, a funeral, etc.

Yep. A whole bunch of us. I blame it on the new layout. A picture would have helped.

That reminds me of what happened to me when I was in second grade. I was having a lot of behavioral problems as a result of bullying and things. For example, older kids would take my lunch money and then I would end up telling the teacher I "forgot." I'd act out and I was prevented from taking recess, which made me

I had always assumed it was because women's fashions are involve thinner fabric and more revealing cuts.

So much truth. I have a subscription to Women's Health that is a gift from my stepmother. I could cancel it, but I'd rather not rock the family boat over this issue. In any case, I sometimes flip through it and it is just awful! Poison! It is a weight loss and beauty magazine with no regard for health.

I have such a crush on Anna Torv. She's not even my type. I rarely crush on girls, and it's usually more the the Rachel Maddow type, but Anna Torv... oh my god.

I remember reading about a study that said people are generally try harder to "win" when placed in conflict with people they view as inferior. It's one thing to lose a fight with a peer or a person of higher rank, but to lose to a person of lower rank incurs loss of "face." There isn't as much threat to your status

I'd guess that the influence of friends who idealize thinness would be stronger than the influence of TV on its own.

They've been a great tool for me, too. A lot of the time, the calorie counts are not what I would have expected. If there were a calorie version of "the price is right" I would fail so hard.

I like that there are now pictures on the side bar, even if that does add to the visual noise. When i09 switched over, it was just headlines, and a lot of people complained. I'm glad the pictures seem to be back.
