@LOL it's Bert: That's not a bad idea; releasing DLC will get people playing the game again.

@roman2838: Exactly. So many games end up with cut content because they can't fit everything in. This way they can focus on getting the game finished, then add all the other stuff.

I assumed most Madden fans only bought the new game every two or three years. Even your average jock isn't too dumb to realise that they're paying for a roster update.
