I've tried those Sparkling ICE drinks with vodka and they are delicious.
Sounds like this could be a nice lighter alternative.
As Emily stated there was an investigation into them before the time jump, so I was thinking there must be something left but it's pretty up in the air.
Did she?
I was under the impression Eleven did most of her damage at the school.
Man, I want to see Brenner again if only to find out what the hell Hawkins Lab was really up to.
Were they only trying to spy on the Soviet Union?
Can they profit from the slippery, slimey vines that populate the
Upside Down?
Are they trying to weaponize the "Demogorgon"?
I must know these things!
Hopper did, you'll recall, take a trip to Hawkins Lab right after they rescued Will from the Upside Down.
Do they know something we don't know? Because I want a second season of this show with Eleven in it.
I DEMAND IT!
Exactly.
It was strategic, showed some backbone, and just the organized method of the convention itself was impressive.
Especially, in contrast to what we saw last week. If they stick to the platform, this will be a win/win for everyone.
I see J.J. Abrams stopped by to add the annoying lens flare too.
I literally cheered when BoJack, against all odds, finally got Kelsey the note, only to viscerally feel his defeat as they revealed the ink on the note had smudged. They pull no punches, and I love it that much more for it.
This episode especially made the shot selection noticeable in a good way.
The scenes Alex and you point out are some, but the whole episode was more cinematic than a usual Mr. Robot episode, and that's saying something.
I could definitely hear the John Williams similarity in there and that was probably what made it sound like Raiders/Empire in some ways.
Eleven's telekinetic powers — especially at the grocery store — was giving me even more of King's Carrie and Firestarter vibes, than ever before.
Brenner's passive/aggressive emotional manipulation and weaponization of her are similar themes to those tragic tales as well.
Mike apologizing to Lucas at the urging of Dustin who tells him best friends have to make up, could have been chessy in lesser hands, but came off
genuine and endearing here.
I thought it was pretty strange that was given so much time and that the cat was outside again, to begin with.
Oh that's right. I totally forgot that, it was so many plots ago.
Edited.
They changed it? I thought it was always Hollywoo.
Ok.
Thank you Les, for that fantastic screen cap of the store signs of 2007 Hollywood.
I loved how they ramped up Jessica's "friendship" with Justin Timberlake so effectively, given the amount of time they had. Funny stuff!
What a creep. Just as I thought Lonnie was stepping up, he proves to be the scumbag we met initially.
In the real world he's a valuable voice of reason, but in a TV show that's usually perceived by us as a momentum stopper.
I'm torn by his reasonable but annoying outbursts.
