I own all the systems (cept Xbox, cuz I mean who would?) but I will be purchasing it on the 3DS for the simple fact of it being much, much more accessible than the PS4 (I can take the 3DS anywhere.).

Breath of the Wild made an appearance just last night in SGDQ. It was finished in 45 minutes!

I thought BotW made it in after Majora’s Mask. Wasn’t it Any% and scheduled to be 50 minutes long? I didn’t get to catch it due to dinner, but was looking forward to seeing the video posted on YouTube.

It’s too bad they didn’t add that bit counter to the main layout until halfway through the Majora’s Mask run. Might have actually hit that blind Majora fight at 5 million if they did. Other than that, everything was great. :D

They did BotW last night at SGDQ, it was a donation incentive.

Nintendo may have made it needlessly confusing with the naming scheme and peripherals, but I think people like to shit on the Wii U a lot more than it deserves. I mean, it can play physical games from over three generations of consoles not to mention basically all of Nindendo’s backlog.

You could just report on this without the dripping condenscension. It costs Nintendo little to port already released games and I’m glad to see they’re still doing so.

I’d say probably because a lot of people still have Wii Us and not everyone has a Switch? I have both and both are plugged in. I doubt releasing games for the Wii U’s already set up eshop isn’t pulling people away from getting it on the Switch.

You consider VI as the best so maybe you should give XII a deeper dive. You said on Split Screen you weren’t a fan. I think the director was the same for 6, 9, and 12. Which may be why they were my favorites.

Next year, Nintendo should also offer their showfloor demos on their eshop (via local wifi) to alleviate line congestion. Imagine playing demos on your Switch or 3DS while walking around the convention center or waiting in other lines.
