XCOM2 has gotten back into wanting to play more strategy turn based games... enough to make me go out and buy a 3ds just for Fire Emblem Fates.

I’d go with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire...the original games have not aged well, but they have a lot of nostalgia factor.

Divinity original sin with a friend, Elder scrolls online with the wife and maybe more Heroes of the storm with another friend.

Legit question: Should I play this? I’m 40 years old, never played a single Pokemon game in my life. 49 sales GONE!

It’s funny how in most games when an enemy carries flamethrowers the gastanks are usally destroyable and makes a large explosion, but when the players picks up the flamethrower the risks of having gastanks on your back is usally gone.

this honestly looks very similar to a small game Lucas Pope (Papers Please) did, called Republica Times, several years ago. I know the developers are crying ignorance, and there are certainly differences enough to distinguish them, but in conjunction with the lookalike graphics, it doesn’t seem so much like an homage

And the swap wasn't immediate, either. The default action button for Final Fantasy VII is still O in America, but the default for Final Fantasy VIII in America is X. So the system was out for a number of years in America before the change was initiated. I'm not sure what caused this global change. Nintendo still uses
