I've never seen a purple lens flare on any cell phone i've owned, either.
I've never seen a purple lens flare on any cell phone i've owned, either.
Don't see any purple lens flare in that, do you? And that was taken with an old 5MP Canon PowerShot SD500 P&S. I've never taken a picture with the sun in it and had purple lens flare. Any idiot knows that pictures with the sun or other bright light sources cause lens flare. Any idiot also knows that they aren't…
No.... you could say it better..... by saying that as the others have said, while you do get lens flare when a bright light source is in the picture, it almost NEVER turns said bright light source a shade of purple. I've even shot a fair number of pictures in my days with older point-n-shoots, and Canon Digital…
well, for the palm swipe, it can work if you have the phone lying on a desk or on your bed or somewhere and use it one handed. For phones like the S3 where the power button is on the side, it's not quite as easy to hit the power and home button and not spin the phone in a circle, without grabbing the phone in an odd…
I don't recall ever seeing a lawsuit targeting a device based on a patent that was applied for and granted after another device already had such a feature. But... then again... who knows. All i know is if it ever DID come to that, i'm sure Samsung would bring up that simple fact, anyway, and Apple would be laughed…
Because i don't think it's possible for Apple to sue Samsung because one of Samsung's phones has the same feature as two of Samsung's other phones?
O.o why would Apple sue Samsung for that?
If you have your phone setting on your desk or on your bed... using the phone with one hand.... pressing the home and power buttons on the S3 isn't that easy to do unless you grab it at an odd angle so your little finger hits the power button. I just think it's easier since your hand basically doesn't have to leave…
Even when i had iPhones, i never wiped off the screen with it on. It just doesn't make sense to me. Not only that, but if i clean my screen, i like it SPOTLESS... which it's not entirely easy to see spots and smudges on a screen that's on.
Oh.... i didn't realize you were actually talking about this from an iPhone's perspective. In which case i can see one handed being SLIGHTLY easier, although still a goofy position for a single hand. Who gives a sh*t about Apple/iOS though. On phones like the Galaxy S series, the power button is on the side... so…
I do.... but like i said.... who does that with the screen on? I've never done it, simply because i'm usually doing something on the phone when i notice something annoying on the phone. Lock, wipe clean, unlock. TADA!
Oh.... don't worry.... you know it's coming. haha
uuh.... my main comment about this whole thing is....... who in the hell cleans the screen of their phone with the screen ON?!?!
You basically slide the side of your hand across the screen to take a screenshot.
If your friend took 5 tries to get it to take a screenshot.... uuh.... i'd have to say he was doing something wrong. Takes me half a second to take one, every time.
More like Palm Swipe.... even further simplifying a simple task. What do you think is easier? Pressing a combination of buttons.... or holding down the power button and then pressing Screenshot.... or whatever other ways they have of doing it, or just sliding the side of your hand against the screen? It's not like…
Actually, i'd say it's probably the people who actually realize that NFC is for more than just sharing a file. Oh.... and you don't even have to "touch phones" if you're on the same WiFi network. Don't worry... a palm swipe will probably make it's way to some version of iOS. I mean hell.... Panorama did, 2 years…
No.... more like spending nearly two years using iPhones (3GS and 4), before switching to Android. If you've only ever used an iPhone, then you're probably the one looking at the whole situation in a stereotypical manner. My comment took a few seconds of thought to come up with, simply by the observation that Apple…
Don't worry, Woz.... Apple will implement the palm swipe screenshot feature. They'll just wait til iOS 9-ish, and basically say "Hey, look at this new thing we did!!! Aren't we clever?!?!?" and people will eat it up like no tomorrow.
Yea, it says right at the beginning when they first start talking about the Wrist-Twist that the two rings turn simultaneously.
