I don't recall ever seeing a lawsuit targeting a device based on a patent that was applied for and granted after another device already had such a feature. But... then again... who knows. Even when i had iPhones, i never wiped off the screen with it on. It just doesn't make sense to me. Not only that, but if i clean my screen, i like it SPOTLESS... which it's not entirely easy to see spots and smudges on a screen that's on.

Everybody knows lens flare is normal. Hell, depending on the picture, that bit of lens flare can add a bit more life to the picture. The downside is when that much sought after lens flare turns into a purple sun. Then people can get pissed.

Yea.... but IIRC, purple fringing is more with other stuff, not so much with lens flare from a bright light source in the picture.
