Agreed, worst S class ever, the accountants were running things then. Huge improvement in the next model, W221. Worst part of the W220 is the Airmatic and gooey soft feel trims. Latter can be removed, stripped and painted for a longer life. That’s what I did. I also coiled the Airmatic. Leather is still first class.
