**yawn** or you can buy a media-player device like WD, popcorn hour, or boxee. Everyone talks about how cheap apple-tv is, but airplay from your "devices" seems anything but. I'd rather rip DVD's to my main (shared) computer and stream them to a capable device that decodes the file in native format. Rather than buy

@BazookaJoe: "real products"... Troll, and a ridiculous one at that. iPhone is a popular product, so more than likely the fact that they have an iPhone is probably the only thing that makes them an Apple customer.

@Tonttunator: I would appreciate it if they had 3D sound. Like that will ever happen.

@eNdi: I tried that. iTunes is currently blocking all Beatles tracks and anything with the word "sarcasm" in the song title. It's confusing!

I am both horrified and amused.

@fznmomin: MS Word has reference functions built in. I think you can even switch from MLA to APA. I have used it in Office 2004.

@Error601: I agree that this makes the PS3 an appealing option, but the PS3 also doesn't scrape your media and organize your collection. Your point about the price is compelling though.

Boxee is badass. I like Plex better, but this is a good system. I'm seriously considering having a couple of these.

@clobclark: You know you care more than I do about people dying. I'm sold.

@clobclark: You're right. I'm expecting you to "trust" me as the sole basis of my objection to stupid conspiracy theories. And obviously since I disagree with stupid conspiracy theories, it only follows that I lack empathy for 9/11 victims. With that kind of logic, it's really no wonder why you subscribe to nonsense.

@Lincolnsbeard33: I'm not sure if your first statement is facetious or not. Yes, we have an obesity epidemic. But to draw the line directly to McDonald's is absurd. Portion control is the biggest issue here and it ties into the bullshit ideas people have about healthy eating. It's not necessarily misinformation

@clobclark: wow. You're right. W planned 9/11 with the Jew bankers!

Nutrition proves that cheeseburgers are generally no good for you. No conspiracy theory is needed to explain our health epidemic. We like food that is terrible for us and bad habits are hard to break. McD's provides that fix for a lot of people... thus a lot of people are unhealthy from eating shit like McD's.

Any word on how HD files perform? Because I'm thinking about getting the Boxee box, but now I'm not so sure.

@kevinl: Oddly enough, I have corruption on my brand new MacBook Pro also (which does not have iLife '11 installed). The MBP has no issues. That seems suspect. I've corrected the corruption through Applejack, but the corruption still shows up in Disk Utility. I have the sneaking suspicion that this particular issue

@kevinl: Thank you for your suggestion. It's been a while since I've run Disk Utility. Corruption WAS found. Strangely enough, that didn't cause issues with my previous version of iPhoto so I'll have to find out if repairing the disc fixes the problem. Nonetheless, it needs to be done anyway. I'm remotely logged
