Keep in mind that allot of the game isnt finished, 2.0 is the first glimps of the universe we’re getting so it’s still limited. Shops are suppose to be a thing after persistence is added.

Its called an alpha because its an alpha. They are letting their backers, in a sense, their investors, play it, and see the progress that has been made. It also allows us to give them feedback, as well as croud source a huge chunk of the QA bug finding process.
