I want the nickname “Baghdad Bob Spicer” to catch on.

They played into his game and now it’s backfiring on them. They have already learned from this and yet...

Aw, here’s another.

A smart administration (lol) would address the march in a manner something like this: “We embrace the public’s right to exercise their First Amendment right to peaceful assembly, and we hope that, in time, we can show ALL of America that we are with them, and working for the greater good of every citizen.”

Did you notice the metro stations were shading trump too yesterday and today. It was hilarious.

Or, as someone just quoted from a Woman’s March sign: “You think we were nasty women before? Buckle up, buttercup.”

Am I the only one who got a shiver down my spine when I heard Trump say “God looked down and, and he said we’re not going to let it rain on your speech”?

There were hundreds of thousands of supporters who got caught in a huge line at Chick-fil-A.

And lecturing the press about “what they should be writing.”

He can hold me accountable all he wants. I have over 200 years of history behind me. Come at me, you fucking tangerine.

I was anchoring today and spelled out the President was lying. It was my third story down, post marches and the CIA clusterfuck, and I very specifically said the crowd DID NOT back to the monument, and that numbers did not match what Spicer said.

I’m wondering why the press corps bothers to show up at all. Trump appears to alternate between refusing to speak to certain reporters/papers/networks, and haranguing all of them as a group. Since we know, and even the folks at CNN know, that he lies all the time, why do they even bother to show up? When are they

I kind of love that WaPo is now just flat-out saying that Trump is lying:

I personally loved the leap from “there is NO way of knowing how many people were there.” to “There were the most people from any inauguration ever.”

“This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period”

OMG you missed the cutest woke man there.

Tangentially related but how cute is Ian mckellen’s sign for the women’s march?

“Great, only three inches of the cake is usable, too?”

Sorry, ladies, but unless a woman can control her body and reproductive organs, as long as she can be forced to carry a pregnancy to term, even or especially if it is life threatening, she is not truly free or equal. And if you think that is separate from equal pay, equal representation, equal treatment under the law,
