I mean, nobody’s in charge. That’s kind of the point. People are going to criticize someone who says something they don’t like. You’re free to disagree with them. You’re worried about people deciding what’s unacceptable,  yet here you are deciding what’s unacceptable for other people to say. And yeah, comparing the

A lot of people really seem down on 3. I liked it more than most* apparently so I wouldn’t have the gap. But the order is certainly correct.

So, seasons? For me it’s 2>1>>>>>3>4. 2 by a smidge over 1 and 3 by a smidge over 4. A wide gap between the first two and the second two, though.

Yes, I get that the show is designed as one-off adventures with an over-arching quest.

If only Rosario Dawson had been given time to grow out her natural montrals and head tails.

I didn’t want the whole review to turn too much into a diatribe about queer representation”

I thought the New 52 was actually shocking short on talent. Scott Lobdell was writing 3 books. David Finch was writing. Francis Manapul, Ethan Van Sciver. I actually look at the New 52 very unfavorably, people remember Snyder’s Batman and Swamp thing, Lemire’s Animal Man, Azzarello’s Wonder Woman. Most of it was very,

We just need to recognise that Zack Snyder is a superior creator who needs to be able to pursue his own interests in film-making without being limited by less creative people.

Honestly DC has gone so grim-n-gritty it almost seems like parody but you know it’s not as it lack any sense of self-awareness.  I guess there must be a market for this edge-lord shit or they wouldn’t keep making it but it’s a hard pass from me.

The show cops out by giving us their happy ending. I would have liked to have seen Deux literally branch out and give us any number of possible worlds or ‘ending’s’.

At least that way we would seen how the simulated versions of Lily and Forest were also (or simultaneously) trapped in various hells.

The show ended up

Katy Perry does. Didn't you read the article?

Well, there’s also the fact that it literally was a Disney movie.

“The demands of action and comedy, however, are apparently much too great a weight for this action-comedy to Lyft.”

For me one of the most satisfying moments of this finale was Kith telling Jeri, “You don’t want to die alone...but you will.” From day one, Hogarth has always been an utterly despicable person and when it looked like Kith was going to forgive her I was ready to throw something at the screen. That swerve at the end

I can’t tell if Sallinger lured Jessica into the water tank in order to trap her there (was that supposed to be some kind of poison falling from the ceiling?) or whether she accidentally trapped herself in there and was just running out of air.
