If this is all some brilliant plan by Antonio Brown I will actually be relieved as I was seriously concerned for his sanity.

The terms, on the surface, look more than alright for a guy who spent the past month seemingly trying as hard as he could to burn all his bridges in Oakland.

Sure, the Raiders fucked up by acquiring him in the first place and then not just completely bending over and allowing Brown to do whatever he wanted with no consequences. That doesn’t mean the Raiders were unfair to Brown or did something snakish by voiding his contact. Brown brought this on himself. He is not a

Yeah, the Bell situation was completely different. Dude was one of the best RBs in the league for his entire career and had never had a say in where he would play or for how much. .

Yep. I almost quoted that line but didn’t bother. I don’t see why there is a need to act like the Raiders wronged Brown when it seems pretty clear that Brown has been doing everything he could to sabotage his place with the team.

I don’t understand why you act like the Raiders have somehow treated Antonio Brown underhandedly. They wanted to give him the money to play for them. He did everything he could to torpedo that. The fact that he isn’t getting the $30,000,000 is on him. He has no one to blame but himself.

I don’t think even they can get AB to start acting rationally.

It amazes me that no matter what Antonio Brown does Deadspin is there to try to explain how he is the wronged party.

Just because Deadspin does this weird thing where they go completely out of their way to point the blame at the single person most deserving of it doesn’t mean I have to do it too.

So expecting a certain level of professionalism from professional football players is getting in a dick measuring contest. Ok.

I don’t know why Drew goes to such great lengths to try to put the blame everywhere else when it’s become pretty damn clear that Antonio Brown is the problem. He threatened to punch the GM in the face. That’s the sort of thing that kind of needs a response from the organization. Drew apparently believes the Raiders

Lol. Yeah, the Steelers failure to keep Brown happy had absolutely nothing to do with him being insane. It was all just the Steelers being incompetent. Now the Raiders are incompetent.  No doubt when AB goes somewhere else and runs into problems that team will also turn out to be incompetent.  What an idiotic take.

If he was an addict then it was not really his choice, at least not anymore.  Maybe the first time it was.

Maybe the players need to do a better job in the next collectively bargained deal. The rules were agreed upon and the Texans are following them.

It is unclear to me why I am supposed to think that the Texans following the rules as they were agreed upon by the players in the last collectively bargained deal is somehow screwing the players.

This is quite possibly the least interesting ‘story’ I've ever read on Deadspin.

Thrown wrench to the face?  Dodge ball.

Team USA shouldn't have made helping them move part of the requirement for being on the team.

I think the best part of the highlights is the guy that Zlatan sends flying without seeming to realize after the third goal.

That’s the worst magic trick I’ve ever seen.
