You've got that backwards, the oncoming truck loses control, tail slides out causing the truck the guy is following to emergency brake, the camera guy isn't overtaking, he's braking and stearing around the truck in front of him to avoid smashing into the back of it, out of the frying pan into the fire style.

Why isn't this a web app? why not just load this up when you visit google on any tablet? Seems stupid creating a whole bunch of apps for various platforms when you could just do it once with Ajax and some simple CSS transitions.

I thought I made it clear they bought it, but they didn't just slap the app on the phones, they developed it and added no small amount of charm to its user interaction.

I understand that it may seem like a free service that Apple restricts to 4S's just because they're dicks, but the reality is that Apple poured billions into obtaining and developing the tech behind Siri, not to mention the infrastructure required to run it.

People seem to forget that Apple had Intel macs in the labs running OS X from the beginning, its nice to have options if your primary supplier doesn't deliver.

I suspect it was the escalating costs of supporting it on an ever growing number of devices that caused them to pull the plug, Adobe are after all in the business of making money, if they thought Flash would have ended up as a revenue steam they would have stuck with it.

That film is misleading, it gives the impression that they spent the night running around the airport playing silly buggers, but the reality is most of the time was spent setting up the cameras, discussing and framing shots and a bit of time fixing rigs, only interrupted by brief moments of staged horseplay.
