You must’ve missed the article on VW’s compact truck. The plan is to make the rear cab accessible with the rear seats folding down, this would extend the bed length. If it worked for the avalanche, I don’t see it being DOA especially with how many of those I used to see on the road.

I had a 17 4R and the power train does need an update. It was a struggle going up mountains with any additional weight not to mention it has one of the worst mpg ratings for what it is.

I had a 17 Trd Pro that was great for what it was, took it to death valley stock and it did just fine. Unfortunately as the OP and you mentioned, those nuances became a breaking point and I sold it a year later. As of now I’m waiting and hoping the new Bronco meets my wants, unless the new gen 4R rectifies the issues.

And you really believe that?

Actually digging that

Yes

Airpods are one of the worst sounding devices for music playback at their price, yet they’re better than earbuds? Yea ok...

Last Sept, I sold my 4Runner for $46k. Since it was a large sum of money we agreed on doing a wire transfer and met up at his bank. It was quite seamless and he made sure I received a copy of the transaction details for records. I’d say that is the best route to take as there is still some risk with a cashiers check.

A premiums plus sportback with the S-line package is 5k more than the top SEL Arteon. With that you get a better interior and better AWD system. Have you actually compared the interior specs because they aren’t that much different.

oooh, not too far from the infamous b52 wrecks either.

As much as I wanted to get this when I was looking for a new car, at that price the A5 sportback is more appealing.

Exactly what I was thinking and also better AWD system

Pulling you out of the greys because I, in fact, had an issue with Toyota service and followed other incidents directly affecting the vehicle I had....
Relating to incidents of my particular vehicle (4Runner trd pro), the “techs” were stripping the bolts on the trd skid plate when doing an oil change and not fixing it.

Hate to tell ya, but dealers aren’t any better as well.

Also, be sure to add oil where needed.”

Overlanding is becoming nothing more than a “scene” as loads of IG stance kids are now moving into the off road world. At least in LA, this is what’s happening.

lol no.
