Yea well having to pick your gear going through dead stop traffic isn’t much fun either...

This may come as a shocker, but some people actually buy trucks as their daily driver and may want some creature comforts. Crazy, I know.
Most people care about that when 95% of their diving is commuting.
My god that joke is so over used it makes yo mama look good.
Having owned and been in different jdm vehicles, I just can’t stand the quality of the interior. The cheap hard plastic feel bothers me enough that it keeps me in euro cars. However the Kia stinger did have me second guessing that notion.
I had a A3 FWD as a loaner once and my god it was a horrible experience. It sounded like a diesel and was super jumpy when starting to accelerate. I took it back next day and requested a car that wasn’t a A3.
Not sure about Miata but interior quality/feel of the GTI was(is) much better than Japanese vehicles I’ve been in. Interior feel has always been higher on my list and going from VW to Toyota, I can definitely feel the difference of quality with Toyota being the lesser.
I know a couple local dealers selling select wranglers/rubicons for a couple grand under MSRP. Not sure if that what exactly you’re looking for or if that kind of discount is worthwhile though. My buddy just picked up a Rubi at Ellis Jeep in Glendale, CA for $2300 under MSRP but they wouldn’t budge any further on the…
In retrospect, my localized response was directed at the invalidity of your generalized response.
That is true but again purchasing a truck out of state is not worth the time for most people. Also have to take into consideration travel expenses and if it would be worth it to buy far out of state. I actually just sold my T4R Trd Pro (amazing resale value) and holding out till the Bronco hits the market.
Yes but you fail to understand the market. Most buyers want a double cab, which yes the Sr5 V6 has. However, you will rarely find one in 4x4 which is going to push you into the TRD Off road trim. I just took a look at the inventory of one of the largest SoCal Toyota dealers and no Sr5 listed came in the 4x4 config. I…
You must be new....take a trip to the west coast and you’ll see where the majority of these sales will end up.
I disagree. You forget there’s a huge overland/off road hype going on right now. These trucks will fit right into that market.
Did you not see the comment saying sure they start in the 20s but anything with decent options is going to get you into the 40s....A Tacoma TRD Off Road are listed at 38-39k which is not he highest trim available.
True. Honestly the ZR2 bison in the recent article sounds like a much better comparison at a similar price point.
Don’t forget to include the ridiculous markups on the raptors pushing them to 70k...The raptor and bison serve two different purposes. One being a high speed desert runner and the other being a trail rig.
It said the Trail Runner is a Z71 so it gets the Rancho shocks. Now I don’t how good those are compared to the Fox shocks but I doubt the difference is huge. Skid plate wise, the same can go for the tacoma and they don’t even include rock rails with their package. I agree on the RST, there’s no place for that in this…
First of all, good luck finding a new Raptor less than $60k.
Secondarily, both serve two different purposes.
Yup. The raptor is kinda in a league of its own. This should be compared more so against the tacoma.
Looks to be a better package than the “TRD Pro” for the Tacoma at virtually the same price. Nice
