I dunno. Nothing makes sense. 18 year olds are responsible enough to drive a truck, but not across an invisible state line; they are responsible enough to buy and shoot guns, but not to have a beer. The whole thing seems pretty arbitrary.

But what if there are two exits between the one to go straight? My wife and I argue about this all the time because this is the case at a roundabout near our house. She is an advocate of being on the outside lane until the exit, but I say that given that I should be on the inside at least until I pass the first one of…
How can we have so many stupid cops in this country. Maybe because its seems like it takes less training to be a cop than a barista these days...
Nobody desperately needs someone with an English degree? No takers?
This is going to become Sony’s Skyrim. Just keep porting it on and on...
I guess she has used her pandemic time getting plastic surgery. She looks like she can barely move her mouth in that video.
Probably helps when you have the mob to back up your threats
I figured I’d point out a typo, because why not... Al Pacino was nominated for “Hunters” not “Hunter”
Put some glowing teeth on that car and it would end up looking like the aliens/monsters from Attack the Block.
Money can’t buy class.
I feel like that was generally true of a lot of restaurants. I can’t remember the last time I went to a Chinese restaurant for a sit down meal, but we do take-out once a week, but that was a regular part of my childhood.
I came to add this suggestion too. Sky Captain was WAY ahead of its time, and it continues to have a style that is unique. The special effects hold up remarkably well. Compare it to other green screen movies of the day and you realize how good it is.
One of the most haunting and effective musical moments I’ve ever experienced was in Red Dead Redemption, when you enter Mexico for the first time and Jose Gonzalez’s music begins to play. It is the only time a song does that in the game and, to my knowledge, you never hear it again. It made the moment feel special and…
So good.
Yeah, I honestly don’t mind the dying. A game is allowed to be hard (and I’ll admit that maybe it isn’t so bad if you are a dark souls player, but I generally play first person games). But the loading times... not worth it.
I’ve been playing this game for a week now and I find it infuriating. There are so many little design flaws that seem to be made just to insult the player. My main irritation is that a game that is designed to be difficult, or that expects the player to die frequently, should have a very quick respawn system. Instead,…
I had never had this until I married into a midwestern family. I love it.
My mother in law makes it with rice wine vinegar rather than regular white vinegar and it makes all the difference.
I’d add Simon and Garfunkel’s version of Homeward Bound as it was performed Live at Carnegie Hall in 1970.
