Damn internet, I can't even read a Garfield without mentally turning it into Garfield Minus Garfield. But it keeps me reading the strips.

I was just talking to someone about whether you cityfolk that live in big apartment buildings just trick or treat inside the building. It must be convenient but I would feel like I was missing out in some way.

Its been a few, but the only Lester I've ever found online is a pile of his near-anonymous Rolling Stone reviews. Prob not gonna find Death Dwarves just due to it being a published piece in Psychotic Reactions and Carburetor Dung.

Not that I'm glad Lou Reed is dead, but it makes me really happy to see some free-floating Lester Bangs love around the internet today. I hope the next world has Bangs/Reed Round 4 out there somewhere.

Ok so the other night I go see Doug Stanhope in Vermont. His opener is this Chicagoan named Junior Stopka, who has the same moon face and weird hawk nose as John Belushi, albeit with long Mitch Hedberg hair. Plus he's got the Chicago voice and he was wearing a very Blues Brothersy hat. So he's at the merch table after

Has anyone tried to play telephone starting with the phrase "purple monkey dishwasher"?

You should not be proud of knowing that.

They went to that well too many times though: Dolph has hippie liberal parents who spoil him in one of the comics, Snake has a college degree, Sideshow Bob of course. It seems like all the bullies are just closet nerds and rich boys.

Everyone put up an amusing line for when they show this screen grab on Tru TV or ID someday!

I don't get Disqus.every other Disqus site I've been to has this layout for years.

Functionally, Burns and Grandpa are the same character now. And they have no idea what to do with Bart anymore.

I'm fond of pot pot pie as a literary device.

Its weird because to me, "Under the Bridge" never ages. I must've heard that song at least a thousand times but it still sounds fresh. But I'm inclined to like them anyway.

I'm no one to judge, but I feel like female-to-male is copping out a little. I'm sure small minded people think its strange, but it seems like less of a big deal than male-to-female. Like Boys Don't Cry. I just don't see a bunch of stereotypical rednecks really caring that their new dude friend is actually a chick all

One of the underpaid Korean animators? They probably got whipped or starved.

Grace Potter's from my neck of the woods in NY originally.

I'm kind of excited to see what kids TV is going to be like in the next 5-10 years when the generation that grew up on classic Snick is fully established and running things. I hope that they remember this time when kids shows didn't talk down to kids or were intentionally stupid and vapid. The worst thing about kids
