Wow just a few short weeks after John Carmack praised the work Graeme Devine was doing at Apple (on the Bethesda Podcast) he leaves. From John's comments it almost sounded like games like Rage on iOS wouldn't exist if not for having a guy like Graeme Devine who actually understands game design and development working

Interesting idea. I don't really remember the game-play from FFT so I am blanking that part out and inserting Disgaea game-play ;) Not sure how well this would work with random people but in a guild like structure it could work alright.

I enjoyed Prototype enough to be vaguely interested in a sequel. Crackdown 2 really reminded me how decent Prototype was.

A friend of mine recently found a nice and stylish way to use his iPhone without removing his gloves: gloves with metallic threads woven into them. They are simple black gloves with some tasteful silver thread worked into them. They are not made or advertised to be touch screen compatible but they are.

For just a game only then my highest would be $70 for Fable 2 LE.

There are ways to adjust the default behavior of the link arrows in iTunes (or even remove them). Easier to do on Mac but doable on Windows as well. A quick Google search should get you the commands you need.

I disagree. Skateboarding games as EA and even worse Activision have been making them have ran their course. The genre is only dying because they are killing it.

The best relationship building I have seen in a game had to be in The Darkness. The completely optional scene near the beginning of the game where you watched TV with your girlfriend with her slowly falling asleep on your shoulder is pretty singular in video games.

@Xaxir: The ergonomics are not improved and the d-pad and buttons are still tiny.

@Sablis: My hands cramp after like 30 minutes.

As a DS hater (Nintendo has never heard of the term ergonomics or seen the hands of a 6 foot 2 inch tall man) I wish that 5th Cell would make some quirky 2D games for the Xbox 360.

@AgentSmithAndWesson: The WRC stuff in the GT games has always felt tacked on to me. Nice for a change of pace but not the shining feature of the series. Forza doesn't have it and I rarely miss it. I would much rather see the teams behind these games focus on track racing and split the WRC stuff off into its own game

@Wahrheit: Yes it does run in 1080p at 60 fps and the Forza team has managed to make two games in less time than the GT team took to make one. I'm sure GT5 is a great game (probably the best racing game ever even) but Forza 3 was excellent and very pretty.

How about Reboot rebooted by Pixar? Surely Disney could get the rights for like $5 and a case of Jolt or Four Loko.

Just a quick corrective note on resolutions: the Apple TV will play 1080p (1920x1080) it just downsamples it to 720p (1280x720) when it outputs it.

R.I.P. Tony Hawks games.

Not sure I am into this game enough to bother with DLC. Which is sad considering I put like 200+ hours into Fallout 3.

Since when is having more options a bad thing?

When I saw the headline I instantly thought of Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel and started to wonder if Capcom had acquired the rights to him.

@rolloutroad: I have the early 2009 MacBook (not Pro). So I only have a 2 GHz Core 2 Duo and the nVidia 9400M GPU so it might run but it will be at the lowest settings (have to do the same with Starcraft 2).
